Since I probably averaged one to five articles per week (when not waitressing to finance my writing habit), I’m sure I wrote more than a thousand articles, reviews, previews, and profiles for a variety of Canadian newspapers and magazines over a twelve-year period.

More recently, in April of 2018, I penned this obituary feature profile of my elder friend Jock Hermon. Based on his wife Evans’ notes and my personal observations, it was published in the Sunshine Coast’s regional paper with almost no edits:
